Air treatment

Specialist in the treatment

of odor nuisances for over 25 years

NORASYSTEM, developed by Phodé, is based on a unique patented technology that destroys odours. Effective on the main sources of odour nuisance, NORASYSTEM definitively eliminates malodorous molecules to restore the pleasure of pleasant air.
We operate in numerous fields of application and are committed to providing high-quality services.

Who is our odor destroyer for?

Odour pollution is generated by industrial sites, storage facilities or processes that release malodorous molecules into the air.

The main sectors affected are sanitation, composting, waste treatment, livestock farming and industry.

Composting

The various types of composting, plants, sludge, slurry, etc. regularly give off odour nuisances, and this can become more pronounced with the arrival of the warm weather.

Within these infrastructures, several target zones can be treated :

  • Shredding / mixing / screening area
  • Fermentation area (in windrows with turning over or in outdoor or covered bins)
  • Maturation and refining platform
  • Lagoons and leachate
  • Washing towers and biofilters
  • Windrow turning

How to implement an odour destruction process?

  • Diagnosis:

This is the essential step. Each industry has its own odour and therefore its own volatile compounds as well as target emission areas to be treated. It is therefore generally necessary to carry out a diagnosis directly on the site to determine the appropriate treatment to be implemented. The odour destruction processes that we will then propose to you can be very varied depending on the nature and sources of the emissions.

  • Destruction by fogging:

This is the process that allows the treatment of bad ambient odours either in open environments or in channelled flows by means of a fogger that diffuses our anti-odour product, NORASYSTEM, in the form of very fine droplets continuously. This solution is suitable for open air. By using a pressure of more than 10 low, we obtain very fine droplets that remain suspended for longer. This is a sequential treatment; depending on the odour and the place to be treated, fogging phases and pause phases are alternated.

  • Destruction by gun or dynamic fogging:

This treatment can be used for odour emergencies or to treat odour generating areas with localised intervention such as loading bays.

Sanitation

Urban wastewater treatment networks are often sources of odour nuisance, particularly due to hydrogen sulphide emissions, also known as ammonia or H2S (urban or industrial wastewater treatment plants, lifting stations, networks, hydro-cleaning, storage and transport of sludge, solar drying greenhouses, etc.).

Within these infrastructures, several target areas can be treated:

  • Lift station
  • Unloading area
  • Pre-treatment area
  • Biological treatment
  • Sludge room
  • Washing tower
  • Drying greenhouse
  • Breeding
  • Biofilters
  • Lifting stations

  • Spray destruction:

This technique is generally used in closed, moisture-sensitive areas, such as chimneys or ducted streams. It is a bi-fluid method that combines air and water continuously to create the Venturi effect and thus diffuse very fine droplets.

  • Destruction by gun or dynamic fogging:

This treatment can be used for odour emergencies or to treat odour generating areas with localised intervention such as loading bays.

Waste treatment

The treatment of waste is very often a source of odour nuisance. We work on the collection, storage and transport of waste, as well as on containers and skips.

Here are the main areas that we can handle :

  • Container, compactor, skip
  • Collection truck
  • Washing tower
  • Temporary storage
  • CSDU/ISDND storage

Industries

Each industry is likely to have a specific olfactory problem, our technology is adaptable.

  • Food industry
  • Petrochemicals
  • Metallurgy
  • Cement industry
  • Fertiliser manufacture
  • Industrial chimneys
